So you guys recently got back from a national tour with Jet, what was that experience like?
It was the best thing ever, fairy tales can come true, etc. Those guys are champions, a real rock n' roll band. It was a beautiful experience.
How does touring the rest of the country compare to playing New York?
New Yorkers can be a little uptight, sometimes shows feel more like a stand off than anything else, I love to watch people dance, New Yorkers need to loosen up a bit, but it's our home town and most of the venues in the city have really good sound with great sound guys so it's really a pleasure to play in the city and we feel a lot of love when we can hear our friends in the crowd. They're all very supportive and i think that energy catches on so the shows in NY are probably our best.
If you could tour with any 5 bands; living, dead, defunct, etc, who would they be?
Rolling Stones 72 American tour
Def Jam tours raising hell 86 and together forever 88
Sex Pistols American tour 78
David Bowie Diamond Dogs tour 74
Dennis Hopper "The Last Movie" college tour 71 - ?
