The Virgins Perform Entire EP On 'Gossip Girl'

Expect to hear all 5 tracks from the band's debut short-player on tomorrow's Gossip Girl, airing at 9pm on The CW. Here's more info, courtesy of today's press release: *In the episode, devastated by the current state of her relationship with Nate (Chace Crawford) and still dealing with the guilt from her recent indiscretion, Blair (Leighton Meester) puts on a happy face for her 17th birthday party and attempts to hide the truth from her friends. Hoping to ease the tension between Serena (Blake Lively) and Vanessa (guest star Jessica Szohr), Dan (Penn Badgley) takes Vanessa to Blair’s party so the girls can have some bonding time, but this only ends up making Serena more uncomfortable. So you guys recently got back from a national tour with Jet, what was that experience like?

It was the best thing ever, fairy tales can come true, etc. Those guys are champions, a real rock n' roll band. It was a beautiful experience.

How does touring the rest of the country compare to playing New York?

New Yorkers can be a little uptight, sometimes shows feel more like a stand off than anything else, I love to watch people dance, New Yorkers need to loosen up a bit, but it's our home town and most of the venues in the city have really good sound with great sound guys so it's really a pleasure to play in the city and we feel a lot of love when we can hear our friends in the crowd. They're all very supportive and i think that energy catches on so the shows in NY are probably our best.

If you could tour with any 5 bands; living, dead, defunct, etc, who would they be?
